AX Construction Welcomes Hundreds to Jesuits’ Church Restoration Tour at Notte Bianca
AX Construction was honoured to participate in this year’s edition of Notte Bianca, offering an exclusive guided tour of the Jesuits’ Church restoration. The event saw an outstanding turnout, with visitors taking advantage of the unique opportunity to explore the ongoing restoration works in one of Malta’s most iconic historical landmarks.
The tour, led by members of the AX Construction team, began on the ground floor where attendees were able to witness our skilled restoration division at work, performing live restoration tasks. Additionally, experts from Atelier del Restauro showcased a live painting restoration in the heart of the church, allowing visitors to observe the intricate processes involved in bringing the church’s artistry back to its former glory.
On the ground floor, visitors were also surrounded by images displaying the various restoration techniques and works currently being employed by the AX Construction team in the project, providing a detailed insight into the craftsmanship behind the preservation of this architectural gem.
As participants ascended the scaffolding up to the church’s interior cupola, they gained a closer view of the stunning dome, witnessing first-hand the complexity of the restoration efforts.
This special event, hosted in collaboration with the Jesuits’ Church Foundation and the Restoration and Preservation Department, was a memorable experience for all involved. AX Construction is deeply grateful for the enthusiastic response and is proud to be part of this important cultural project. We thank everyone who attended for making it a night to remember.
