AX Construction Completes Works at Marnisi Wine Estate

AX Construction has completed its works at the newly inaugurated Marnisi Wine Estate in Marsaxlokk, marking the conclusion of a distinctive project that combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary construction techniques.

Throughout the development, AX Construction carried out key construction works, from foundations and structural works to traditional columns, beams and brickwork. The project also incorporated precast elements to support the efficient progression of the build.

Among its most distinctive features is a rock-carved tunnel connecting the new development with the existing winery, together with the façade, which was created using an ‘indenting’ technique that gives the building its unique architectural character.

The completed project reflects the careful coordination, technical expertise and craftsmanship required throughout the different stages of construction, while responding to the architectural vision and character of the Marnisi Wine Estate.

The project was recently officially inaugurated, with AX Group Chairman Mr Angelo Xuereb and AX Construction and Development Director Ms Denise Xuereb attending the occasion alongside project architects; Mr Kerstien Micallef, Mr David Anastasi, Mr Kevin Bencini and CEO Mr Jeremy Cassar.

The completion of Marnisi Wine Estate marks another significant project delivered by AX Construction and reflects the company’s continued commitment to quality construction and skilled workmanship across Malta.
