Farsons Group has entrusted AX Construction with the development of a new logistics centre for Quintano Foods, which will be relocated from its current premises in Marsa.

Quintano Foods, in addition to importing foodstuffs and beverages for the local market, is also the Malta franchise holder for prestigious international brands such as Pizza Hut, KFC, and Burger King.

The project is underway on a site spanning over five tumoli of land. The proposed development will feature a multi-storey pallet storage warehouse facility, incorporating dedicated sections for ambient, chilled, and frozen goods storage.

The facility is designed with a strong focus on streamlining logistics operations, ensuring the efficient unloading of incoming goods delivered by truck, trailer, or container, as well as facilitating the numerous daily deliveries to existing and future food outlets.

The project includes the construction of a new warehouse facility, which will consist of a clad metal girder structure, and an office block built using masonry and reinforced concrete.

Completion of the project is scheduled for August 2025.
